(Plus I have $10 in RRs left over from last weekend!)
Wow I wish every weekend went like this! The last couple weeks have been a real bummer, but my goodness did this week make up for it! The two Visine products alone usually cost around $13 (more than I paid for the whole trip) and they only cost me $1.49. I was traveling back from Arizona on Sunday, so I couldn't go shopping until Monday. Since I got out late lots of things were sold out so, believe it or not, it could have been even better! Here's to hoping that next week is just as good!

This trip was more expensive than I would like, but I hadn't built up a lot of Register Rewards. Now that I have those built up I'm hoping my cost at Walgreens will go down. I only paid $2.80 out of pocket at CVS this week since I had ECBs built up. If we cant get the out of pocket cost at Walgreens there then we'll be golden! Of course, the cost also has to do with the quality of deals available from week to week. I didn't shop January 30th because the deals weren't all that great.

On another topic, the first batch of coupon finds will be going to the Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry this week!! I bought a giant plastic bin to keep it all in and I couldn't fit all of the stuff!! Not bad for 3 shopping trips!! As always, thanks for your love and support and send me a message if you would like to send in coupons!

I expected this first trip to cost a little more out of pocket. Now that I have built up some ECBs and RRs, which can be spent like cash at CVS and Walgreens respectively, the total cost of the trips should go down significantly. These items were purchased at Albertsons, CVS, and Walgreens. They will be heading to the food pantry next week!!!

Welcome to Coupons With a Cause!!

Hello Friends!

Those of you that know me know that I get a kick out of couponing! Well, I have decided to take my little hobby to the next level. I have begun collecting as many coupons as possible so that I can Coupon With a Cause. Nathan and I have no use for a lot of the things I can get with my coupons nor do we have room to start any significant stockpile. I had slowed down my couponing for those reasons. Then I had a lightbulb moment one night. Why not donate my free and cheap finds to chairty?!? I have already made 2 couponing trips (I will post about those in a bit) and have a giant plastic tub full of food and toiletries to donate! I am partnering with the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry here in Dallas as well as the St. Vincent de Paul organization to make sure these items get to those who can really use them. I am very excited for this venture and very eager to partner with YOU to make it happen! If you have any coupons that you are not using, send them my way! I'll come pick them up or I'll send some money for postage and you can mail them to me. I will update the blog each week with my haul. Thanks for your love and support!!
